²⁶ Woe to you when all the people speak well of you; for their fathers used to ^[a]treat the ^(A)false prophets the same way.

²⁷ “But I say to you who hear, ^(B)love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, ²⁸ bless those who curse you, ^(C)pray for those who are abusive to you.
